Art Gallery

I took a class called ARTS 305 this semester. It was the introduction to photography class. In this class I learned many things. One thing I learned was about f-stops which is the number on your camera that determines how much light your camera is letting into your picture.

Another helpful hint I learned was about the shutter speed of your camerea. This is the rate at which your shutter opens and closes to catch light and freeze the image which you are photographing. There are also a couple other principles of photography such as the rule of thirds, composition, filters and many different kinds of light settings.

It was a very enjoyable class and for our final exam we had an art gallery showing with twelve of our best shots hung on walls for our friends and loved ones to see. My mother and grandmother attended.

These are a few of the pictures I used in my gallery.
