My grandmother's birthday

My grandmother who is the mother of my mother. Turned 85 on October 23rd but we had her birthday party on Saturday October 20th. I saw many of my family members who I had not seen for a few months and I was happy and relieved to see them all. Thankfully this year I was fortunate enough not to lose any family members who are close to my heart. But I must take a couple of lines aside to say I did lose a great friend in DeAndre Adams whom I had seen just two days before he went home to Georgia for the last time. R.I.P. Dre

There was lots of food and laughter and more kids than you could count on one hand. I love all of my younger cousins who have not graduated from elementary school. They are my favorite people to spend time with during the holidays because someone has too watch them. But, when I get tired of watching them they go where I tell them to and I never have to worry about them asking me where I am going when I get ready to leave the house.

I am the youngest of three boys and everytime we get together its time to wrestle. I must say if you come to my house you have to have thick skin because if you cant wrestle you better be able to take a good joke as well as dish them out. Being quiet only gets you picked on more.
